MAIN PRIZE

The Main Prize awards people who have already paid a meaning­ful contribution to the European Forest Based Sector. The central feature of the Main Prize is the ongoing positive effect of the out­standing performance.

Potential Main Prize winners have to be proposed by any third party (person, organisation, company, ...).

The Main Prize is endowed with € 100,000..

INNOVATION PRIZES

Innovation Prizes should serve as an impetus for promising future oriented projects. Therefore they still may be in the stage of con­ception or implementation.

The proposals have to be submitted by the candidates.

Although implementation is not obligatory, eligible proposals have to fulfil the following conditions:

• Obvious and verifiable innovation compared to the state-of-the-art

• Realistic and detailed implementation concept

• Potential for industrial/European wide implementation

The total prize money is € 200,000.

According to experience three to six Innovation Prizes are pre­sented.
